Pilehaven opens the gate to the open space with a view over Nørresø.

The picket fence with columns as a spire is inspired by Viborg Cathedral's spire, which can be seen from the garden.

Renovated in 1995/1996 by basket maker Bent Vinkler. He has created a number of innovations by playing with natural materials. There are i.a. established wicker fences of willow and maple. The fences are very beautiful and sculptural in themselves.
