The Latin garden

Take a walk in Latinerhaven in the middle of Viborg's center and smell the many exciting flowers and herbs.

The garden is actually a fire site from 1726, and from 1760 the Latin school principal's garden.

In the garden there is still 'Rector's Gazebo'. Here is a memorial plaque for the ornithologist H. Chr. Mortensen and monument to the great Jutland poet St. St. Blicher.

The garden is divided into different sections with spring and summer flower varieties and perennials.

There is a small garden section from 2002 with the theme of schnapps herbs.
