The poet park was established in 1953-55 and is the city's largest park of approx. 9 ha. with a hilly terrain.

Poets Park

The park is located on an area that was part of Carl Jacobson Brostrøm's Nursery School.

In the park there are many different shrubs and large trees. There is, among other things, an orchard with apple and pear trees of approx. 80 different varieties. It is allowed to collect fruits, nuts and berries for your own use.

In the southern part of the park, there is a special playroom in the green surroundings with two playgrounds and two petanque courts in addition to space for ball games etc.
