The museum's main attraction
The main attraction is the copies of the 1000-year-old Mammenfund, the ax and the two mane chairs, effects from the supposed tomb of a Viking chief, which was excavated 150 years ago. Here you will also find a runestone park.
You can also see photo of the suit in which the chief was buried.
Get wiser to the traditional farming community
The collections cover all time periods, but the majority represent the traditional agricultural society as it looked 100 years ago.
It is possible to book a guided tour.
