Experience Viborg from the sea side

With Margrethe I you can experience Viborg from a new angle. The cozy tour boat sails on Nørresø and Søndersø, where you get views of the city, the lakes and the green surroundings around Viborg.

The boat trip lasts about an hour and starts and ends at the bridge at Golf Salonen on Hans Tausens Alle 2. Along the way, you get a quiet break on the water and a nice view of Viborg's skyline, the nature along the lakes and several of the city's famous places.

A boat trip on Nørresø and Søndersø

The route goes through the Viborg Lakes and shows the city from the picturesque water side. On Nørresø you can see Borgvold, Bibelhaven, Nørresøbadet and Nørremølle Enge, among other things. On Søndersø the boat passes Viborg Kunsthal, sØnæs, Strandparken, Forstbotanisk Have, Klosterskoven and Asmild Kirke, among other things.

Margrethe I has been sailing on the Viborg Lakes since 1990 and is today a well-known part of the city's maritime environment. The ship was built in 1935 and is approved for sailing with 65 people.

In addition to the regular sailing trips, Margrethe I can also be chartered for parties, corporate events and association events. The organizer states that there may be cancellations of sailing trips and the last sailing of the day due to no or few registrations.
