The living and creative art

Viborg Kunsthal offers a unique opportunity to experience magnificent exhibitions by renowned Danish and international artists. The art hall has a special focus on living and creative art, and has a number of parallel events in connection with the exhibitions. Among others. artist talks, lectures, workshop visits, concerts and workshops for children and adults. You also have the opportunity to book a tour of the current exhibitions.

Historic building in beautiful surroundings

Viborg Kunsthal is centrally located in Viborg by the lakes and is housed in an atmospheric historic building from 1734, where brandy was previously produced. In 1994, the building was converted into an art hall and has since been one of the leading exhibition venues in Denmark for contemporary art.

After a visit to the art gallery, you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the café or take a walk around Borgvold – the city’s beautiful park. Viborg’s cozy streets and historical sights are also within walking distance. There are good accommodation and parking options in the city near the art gallery and it is easy to reach by public transport or car.
