The motifs of Hærvejstæppet follow the stretch from Viborg to Dannevirke and admire the beautiful nature with the many memorials that tell about our ancestors' lives and movements through forest and ridge, meadow and bog.

In connection with the exhibition of Hærvejstæppet, a book has been published entitled "Folk på Hærvejen" with illustrations and text by Inga Linde Jensen.
