Birkesø, which is very distinctive, is located as a nutrient-poor lake in hilly terrain. Take a walk in the area or take a dip in the lake.

Birkesø has in one corner a bathing beach, with a jetty, so you can enjoy a dip in the approx. 2 ha large freshwater lake. The beach area is bounded by shrubs and trees and is approx. 60 meters.

The water is clear and the bottom is of sand and is therefore soft. The water temperature is 15-23 degrees during the summer period. Electricity is rarely there as the lake is sheltered from wind.

You will find a large seating area with grass as well as a barbecue area/fire pit, tables/benches, trash cans, toilets and parking spaces in the area.
