Kong Knaps Dige is an old defensive rampart from the Iron Age. The dike is currently approximately 200 meters long, up to 6,5 meters wide and 1 meter high, but it was originally both higher and longer.

The dike has probably been a fortification by the nearby Haller Å, which has formed a boundary between different tribes.
According to tradition, the Battle of Grathe Heath took place here in 1157. Here, Sweyn Grathe was killed by his rival for the throne, Valdemar the Great.
The dike was supposed to have been named after Svend Grathe, who was also known as Svend Knap.
King Knaps Dige is today protected.
