In Tange Lake, the fish species are perch, pike, pikeperch, halibut, eel, sea trout, bream and shellfish. There is a chance of knots and suds in the lake.

Fishing in Denmark's largest hydroelectric lake

Tange Sø was created in 1918-21 and, with its 10 meters depth and 1 kilometer width, is an impressive part of the Gudenådalen. The lake offers exciting and versatile fishing in historic and scenic surroundings.

Fishing from land and boat

Fishing is allowed from both land and boat, and especially near the reeds and headlands there are good chances of catching pike. The lake is also home to species such as brown trout, sea trout, salmon, pike perch, eel and roach. The great variety makes Tange Sø suitable for both new and experienced anglers.

Family-friendly fishing

Children under 12 years of age fish for free in the association's fishing waters, and children under 16 years of age can fish for free with an adult with a day pass. Tange Sø is therefore an ideal place for a family outing with a fishing rod and packed lunch.
