Power up history! At the Energy Museum you can delve into the history of energy, from the pitch-black past to the green future. Explore the many exciting exhibitions and unleash your inner arrowhead in wonderful and fun hands-on activities.

Visit, among other things, our large exhibition building "The House of Electricity", where you can experience the many electrical appliances and learn more about the energy solutions of the future in our Power-to-X exhibition.

Scenic museum area

The Energy Museum is beautifully located by the Gudenå River and Denmark's largest hydroelectric power plant, Tangeværket at Tange Sø. Here you can see rushing water powering the old turbines and feel the rustle of history in the generator hall, which has been producing green electricity for the Danes for over 100 years. The large museum area offers space to recharge and enjoy the food you brought inside and outside, as well as space to burn off energy on playgrounds and trampolines.

Every weekend and school holiday from Easter to the autumn break, you can experience a fascinating lightning show with the Tesla coils and feel the static electricity that makes your hair stand on end!
